Hot Tub Shell
Many types of materials that can be used to construct a spa shell; gelcoat, OAS plastic, composite acrylic, and more. Sparta spas use the highest grade continuous cast acrylic available for good reason. CCA includes UV inhibitors that prevent color-fade when exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods. The surface is smooth and luxurious to the touch yet durable enough to resist stress cracking, a common problem associated with inferior acrylic and gelcoat surfaces. Unlike plastic, CCA is a non-porous material making it simple to clean and maintain. It easily withstands temperature changes from 50º–180º F. The result is a spa shell that
will look beautiful for generations to come.

Exterior
The exterior of your hot tub protects your spa from the elements. It should be strong and durable. It should also provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance and be available in a variety of colors. Check to be sure there are accessories such as steps and storage cabinets available to match. These add-ons will enhance the appearance and utility of your hot tub. While a wood cabinet may seem like a good option, keep in mind it will require continued maintenance.

Spa Heaters
It's not a hot tub without the heat! The heater and heater controls maintain and regulate the spa water temperature. The spa water actually passes through the heater so it is subjected to the corrosive action of the chemically treated spa water. We, therefore, highly recommend choosing a top quality heater and a heating system built to last.
