Owning a ThermoSpa hot tub is the best thing we ever did … Let me tell you a little about it. My husband, Joe, had always wanted a Hot tub… my replay to him would be, “sure, in another lifetime. We can’t afford to buy one, maintain it and most importantly, where would be put it?” When we bought our home in 1997, he said speaking of our large garage, “I am going to buy a hot tub some day and we can put it in here.” I thought, yeah right! Well, he was listening to the radio one afternoon and your company had one of those floor model sales … so he took a ride with our older son and bought the Monte Carlo Model in a burgundy color right off the floor. We got a great deal and I thought he was crazy and I was so nervous. We sectioned off the garage, put down tiles, painted the room a sage green, put up a border and put lovely lace curtains on the windows. There are candles located in many different locations to create an ambience of serenity and peacefulness. It is such a pleasant room to spend time in. Well, needless to say, this purchase has been the absolute best purchase of any item in our life. We use the tub endlessly. We use it for therapy, I had back surgery in 1995 and many days my back aches, it just makes it feel so good. I also enjoy exercising in the hot tub by doing leg lifts and scissor kicks. My husband is a great outdoorsman, he fishes in all weather and he just years for the hot tub after a hard day of fishing – especially ice fishing. The kids will go in after an hour of sledding to thaw out. We use it as a form of entertainment, in fact, this past winter, we spent many hours with our neighbors, Jim and Christina and have built a beautiful friendship during this time. We spent many hours talking/laughing and getting to know each other in the hot tub. We have actually had several “hot tub parties” having 8-10 people in the tub at one time. Our children also entertain in the hot tub. We have two boys, 13 and 10, and when they have sleepover parties, one of the activities that they all like to partake in is using the hot tub. My younger son just has a birthday party and they played with boats, racing them, when being in the tub. But most of all, the four of us, my husband, myself and two boys, will go in the hot tub after dinner and spend such quality time talking, relaxing and unwinding after a long, stressful day on the job and school. This is such a precious time for us, because in today’s world, families find it very difficult to spend quality time together and we are building a relationship with them that will be everlasting, while having fun and relaxing at the same time. We just love the champagne bubbles tingling all over our bodies and melting the stress and anxiety away. We always tell people that the hot tub is the absolute best thing about our home and the nice thing is, if we ever move, we can take it with us! It would be a very positive selling point if we decided to leave it and buy a new one. We feel so blessed to be an owner of a ThermoSpa hot tub and just remember, you need not be rich to own one!
