Dear ThermoSpas, My wife and I talked about getting a spa for quite sometime, but never made the plunge. I’m sure you already realize word of mouth from other satisfied customers steered us in your direction. One day over breakfast we decided to attend one of your factory sales. You staff took the time to go over all the details of a spa and never pressured us into a sale. We ended up buying the Olympian model with plenty of jets and room to have friends and relatives join us. We knew we had to build another deck so we immediately started drawing on a piece of paper how we thought our new spa would fit near the existing deck and pool area. Soon we had a plan and we decided to do the work ourselves. I had never really built anything before but we took the challenge. With some good books on deck building and the specifications of the spa we began. My wife and I dug the footings and poured the concrete. We were thankful to a co-worker who lent a hand for the initial effort. Using pressure treated wood we build the main portion to support the spa, and attaching an extension next to it for a small table with two chairs and a stairway down from the existing deck. It was good experience for the two of us, and now we look back with a sense of accomplishment. When guests or relatives see the spa and what we did ourselves they can’t believe it. We enjoy the spa all the time, especially in the winter months. Even on a chilly summer evening it feels better than the pool. We both work in a stressful environment and the ThermoSpa enables us to relax and relieve the stress that comes with the job. One thing that surprised us was that we seem better now and wake up the next day with more energy and anticipation of the day ahead. I like to exercise in the home gym a lot and the spa soothes my muscles after a vigorous workout. Our parents enjoy the spa immensely whether its high blood pressure or arthritis they feel rejuvenated when they get out. It’s a great activity that we can enjoy and combine with a barbecue or no reason at all. We feel that the ThermoSpa has increased our quality of life, and is well worth it.
