Let me start by saying that we love our ThermoSpa hot tub. My husband and I have two small children and after they both get to bed, we are ready to unwind and relax in the wonderfully warm water. However I was not always a believer in the benefits of owning a hot tub. I stated my objections to my husband (who has always wanted one) as too much money, too little space indoors therefore having to use it outdoors and that I would probably not use it that often. He responded that we could afford it, that we would find a suitable place outdoors for it and that once I started using the hot tub, I would love it and that the health benefits would be substantial. I was not convinced so no hot tub. Fate interceded. When we purchased our new home it came with a ThermoSpa included. He was ecstatic, I was moderately happy. After the rigors of moving into a new house, we hooked up and filled up our new spa. Of course, my husband loved it and went in regularly three to four times a week. After some convincing, I too went in. Now I’m hooked. After caring for two small children all day and marinating a household, I am ready to sit, relax and let the hot, calming water wash away the troubles of the day. I also have rheumatoid arthritis and the hot water relieves the swelling and achiness of a long day. My husband still loves his ThermoSpa and uses it regularly to help him relax and relieve the stress of working outside the home and to enjoy some “alone time” with his wife.
