In August of 200 I was laid off from my job of 12 years. As a result I received a severance payment that allowed us to purchase our ThermoSpa – Park Avenue elite. Before considering a spa, my husband, Tom and I looked into purchasing an above ground swimming pool for the family. It didn’t make sense to buy a pool since the summer season is so short and placement of a pool would require major landscaping. Tom and I had always enjoyed watching the ThermoSpa infomercials and it was one of my fantasies to own one. So I did some research. There were many things we could have done with the severance money. However, I decided to invest it in me! I have worked hard all my life and now I had an opportunity to do something nice for myself. Of course getting Tom to part with our hard earned money is not an easy task. So to say he was a little hesitant about investing in a spa is an understatement. Even though he would benefit greatly from it due to back problems he has had most of his adult life. A few years ago I was in a car accident that left me with neck and low back pain. After doing the research I felt ThermoSpa would give us the best value for our money. Maintenance has been a breeze and the service reps have been very helpful. In the eight months since we started using the spa we have found that we feel so much better. We use it at least 3 to 4 times a week. It was especially fun to be in it when it was snowing, on a very clear night, or with a group of friends. The spa has been good for the entire family, both physically and emotionally. My son, Sean, plays baseball and is catching for the first time. Early in the season after a game he would soak in the spa. It helped his legs and knees from becoming sore. This spring after spending an entire weekend doing yard work I would normally be stiff and sore the next day. This year was different because each evening after gardening I soaked and relaxed in the spa. When Monday came I felt great! There is nothing better than sitting in the spa gazing at the stars, letting the day’s stress wash away. The best time I had in the spa was just a few days ago. Tom and I were relaxing in the spa after a long day when he said to me “I wasn’t sure we should spend money but I think buying this ThermoSpa is the best investment we made.” Wow, it is not very often that my husband will admit that I am right and I must say it made me feel great to know that he loves our ThermoSpa as much as I do! Sincerely, Marielle B Smith
