Dear ThermoSpas, Having a spa in the convenience of our home had always been a dream of ours. A dream that has been realized in 1999 when we happened to be in CT during one of your Factory Sales, and by the end of the day we were proud owners of an Olympian Spa. What we didn’t know was that our purchase was going to facilitate the realization of another dream. Despite reported medical projections, in just 3 months of relaxing in our spa nearly every night we discovered we were pregnant – What a surprise! For years that was a dream we were lead to believe was not possible. During my pregnancy, each night we were in the spa we would reflect on the obvious wonders and healing powers of relaxation. Because of our spa we were able to let go of the demands of our careers and renew the intimacy that got lost in the stress of our jobs. An added bonus of having our spa during our pregnancy (or so we are convinced) is that its general health benefits allowed me to have a remarkable pregnancy – no back pain, no edema, no rise in blood pressure, etc… (of course I had my physicians blessing to continue to use the spa as long as we monitored the temp and I limited my time to 40 minutes) In fact, I was told after my delivery at the age of 40 my pregnancy was like that of an 18 year old! Today my husband Ken and I are the parents of a perfectly healthy baby girl. Now we all enjoy the spa together. Olivia dances and sings every time she sees the cover come off the spa. 10 minutes later she is more than ready for a full nights sleep. When she is sound asleep “mommy & daddy” then can sit back and relax, and reflect on the many blessings that seem to have entered our life as a result of that fateful trip to CT in 1999.
